25.11.05 Calidris present at Annual ARIG Conference in Las Vegas  By ANTHONY MILLS During early November, airlines from around the world met in Las Vegas to exchange information about their Revenue Integrity activities and learn about the latest developments. Bergthor Hauksson, an Account Manager with Calidris, illustrated how airlines can prevent revenue leakage and create success by utilising Calidris' Total Revenue Integrity solutions. In order to be successful, an airline must take a holistic approach to Revenue Integrity and the discipline needs to be brought to the organisation through a managed process. To consolidate gains and produce more change, these Revenue Integrity visions and strategies must be anchored throughout the an airline´s culture - Total Revenue integrity.  In summary: - Million of dollars are lost every month by airlines through revenue leakage (Speculative bookings, GDS cost and seats not available, Violation of ticketing rules, Fees not collected). - The problem is: 1. Unawareness: Magnitude of the problem not measured, 2. Complacency: Mental write-off, cost of doing business, 3. Lack of discipline: Solution can not be implemented. - The Solution is: 1. Need to raise awareness by top-management, 2. Implement solution in co-operation with specialists within the organisation, 3. Consistent, automated business processes.
